At Kennedy Space Center space shuttles Atlantis and Endeavour come nose to nose for the final time as they swap places between the Vehicle Assembly Building and Orbiter Processing Facility 2. Atlantis, which had been stored in the highbay since last month will finish up transition and retirement processing in the OPF before she is eventually rolled to the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex for display this fall. With aerodynanic tailcone installed, Endeavour has had all transition & retirement activities completed, she will sit inside the VAB until eventually being flown to Los Angeles, CA for display in mid-Sepember.
